We went to spend Conference weekend with Kip and Dana - and BONUS: Michael was there too! It was a much needed break of our normal routine and we had SO much fun hanging out, relaxing, helping/watching the TV being mounted on the wall, and eating AWESOME food!
When the guys returned we went out to eat at a great Mexican restaurant - a frequent place of dining for Kip and Dana we soon learned. The waiters were hilarious! They were so friendly and had everyone drinking Tequila (Dr.Pepper)! They also informed us that no open beverage containers were allowed so no bottle for Stacie but Tequila was readily available! ha ha
After we got back to the house and put the kids to bed, Dana and I got to work making Cinnamon Rolls (YUM!!) for the morning while the guys figured out how to mount the TV to the wall.
Sunday afternoon we all took a walk to the beach! It was perfect! It was warm so that made it 100% better than our last adventure to see the ocean. :)
Landon got brave and wandered close to the water... at one point the water came in fast and splashed Landon.. He was not thrilled and spent the rest of the time sitting next to me or Tyler on the blanket.
Stacie LOVES Michael... I mean Mike?... Nope I just don't think I can call him Mike...Anyway - The feelings seemed mutual and it was so fun to watch! Micheal will someday be a GREAT dad!
Landon's New Best Friend - Dana! He only wanted to hold her hand. :) After leaving their house Landon still asks if he can go play with Dana!
Kip volunteered to hold Stacie - even though he is allergic to polka dots! ;) I love that she is so friendly... halfway home she was sound asleep in his arms!
Sunday evening we went out to the grill and had a pretty Amazing dinner! Dana is a fantastic cook! These last few pictures are from Dana! :)
These last pictures are from Dana... So they are, I'm sure better quality, and cute! :)
I devoured this book! Dana and I apparently are both afraid of everything and she let me read her funny book... I honestly learned so much and enjoyed it immensely!
However the word for the picture of me
would be..... Unfortunate! This is the picture
that will inspire me to run every week
and hopefully remind me to not slouch!
(However... it will not deter me from devouring
the amazing Cinnamon Rolls!!)
And that is the reason I am going to put
it on the blog... Against my Pride!! :)
